B&W Photography

ARTSTUDI170 is Stanford's intro to film photography class. We were each given a Nikon FE2 to play with and access to a fully-stocked darkroom for the quarter. Using a film camera forced me to understand the physical mechanisms that I had previously taken for granted and gave me new appreciation for the history of the medium. For my final project, I took techniques I was accustomed to using digitally and translated them for use in the darkroom.
